We were born out of the automotive industry
Bilstatistik.dk is developed and operated by us at DBI IT A/S.
We grew out of the Danish car importers association De Danske Bilimportører (now Mobility Denmark), which is one of the reasons why we have strong connections across the entire automotive sector. For more than 20 years, we have been developing IT systems and delivering data that support dealers, leasing and insurance companies, authorities, importers, and other stakeholders in and around the Danish vehicle market. Today, we are also present in Sweden and, through our partner OFV, in Norway.
How we work
We believe that the best solutions are created when we stay close to the users they are meant to help. We prioritise relationships with both users and partners, and that’s a key reason why we’re able to keep our development sharp.
We never choose the easy solutions – unless they also happen to be the best ones – and that’s why our systems are built on a rock-solid technical foundation and a robust infrastructure ready for the future.
That’s one of the reasons our customers stay with us for as long as they do.
DBI IT as a workplace

Even though we always strive to do our best and push ourselves to make things a little better, our work is never driven by a blind chase to meet KPIs.
It’s not just important to us that we move forward – it’s equally important how we get there. That’s why there are two core values that together form the compass guiding us – not only in how we develop our solutions, but also in how we treat one another.
Community
The sense of togetherness and the way we support each other are fundamental to who we are. When the atmosphere in the office is good, it’s reflected in the way we work and in the solutions we create. But community also extends to how we approach our relationships with customers, partners, and the wider ecosystem we’re part of as a supplier to the industry. We share knowledge, connect people, and help one another across the board – importers, dealers, workshops, and authorities.
When the community grows wiser, we believe the whole market moves forward.
Integrity
We do things properly – even when no one is watching. That should shine through in everything we do: in the way we approach our development and solutions, and in how we treat our colleagues and partners.
